This is a small-size, multiple module robot used for delivering aid to isolated areas (e.g: collapsed building, cave, tunnel because of earthquake, war, etc).
There are 2 forms:
- Scout form - This form is used for scouting the area, or to get back to Rescue Control Center after delivering aid. It’s 6 leg modules graping to the frame at the center.
- Transport form - The kit of this mech comes with some strong rubber that used to wrap around the aid boxes or bottles, then leg modules attached to these straps. Civilians will get the aid and reassemble it to Scout form and send it back to the Rescue team.
The reason why I choose the clip/grip design is it’s easy to use, even a civilian can reassemble it with just some quick guide.
With the advancement in AI, user can control it easily without manual control each legs. It can even travel when 1 or even 3 legs is detached or damaged if trained well.
